Where are the page numbers?
Divi's Blog module gives you Previous and Next, and nothing else. BlogX numbers the pages — on its own loop, on Divi's Blog module, and on the archives your theme renders.
Why does filtering need another plugin?
It does not. Filter on categories, tags or any public taxonomy — re-querying over AJAX, or filtering the posts already on the page. Filter URLs are shareable.
What happens when I move to Divi 5?
Both modules register on Divi 4 and Divi 5 from a single rendering core, and ship a conversion outline so the layouts you built on Divi 4 come across.

Drop BlogX Pagination on a post template and it stops paginating: it links the previous and next post instead, in three card styles, side by side or stacked. The reading progress bar sits above or below your header and measures the whole page or just the paired loop.

One rendering core
Both modules register on Divi 4.27 and up and Divi 5.9 and up from a single core, so a layout built on one engine renders identically on the other. A native Divi 5 block ships beside the Divi 4 shortcode, with a conversion outline and preset map for the migration.
Nothing you switched off
Modules and individual features have switches in the settings screen. A disabled module is never registered with either builder, so none of its code and none of its assets reach the page.
No jQuery
The whole front end is vanilla JavaScript, split per feature, and the masonry assets load only for the layouts that use them.
Guarded requests
Every AJAX route is nonce-checked, capability-checked and rate limited per visitor — a ceiling you set in requests per minute, or remove entirely.

Before you ask
Does it work with Divi 5?
Yes. Both modules ship a native Divi 5 block alongside the Divi 4 shortcode, plus a conversion outline and preset map so existing Divi 4 layouts migrate cleanly. The minimum is the Divi theme 4.27 or the Divi Builder plugin; Divi 5.9 and up is supported natively.
Does pagination work for logged-out visitors?
Yes. Load More, infinite scroll and numbered pagination are all available without an account.
Where does post navigation live?
Inside the BlogX Pagination module. Pagination and post navigation are the same intent on different surfaces, so one module covers both and picks by context — it paginates on a loop and links previous and next on a single post.
Can it fix the blog I have already built?
Yes, without rebuilding it. Turn on the Divi Native settings and BlogX replaces the pager Divi's own Blog module prints, replaces or adds the one your theme prints on category, tag, author, date and search pages, and rewrites the Read More text site-wide or per post.
Will it slow my site down?
Modules and features switch off individually, and a disabled module is never registered with either builder, so none of its code or assets load. The front end is vanilla JavaScript with no jQuery, and the masonry assets load only for the layouts that use them.
What happens if I deactivate it?
Your settings stay in place so everything returns when you reactivate. Uninstalling deletes every BlogX option, term colour and post meta only if you switch that on first.
